Part time social work position (20 hrs) needed for our Adolescent Weight Loss Surgery Program. Exciting newly established position for licensed MSW as part of a two-person social work team in the Adolescent Weight Loss Surgery Program.

This Bariatrics Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

  • Providing a broad range of clinical social work services to adolescents and their families.
  • Providing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, short term focused counseling, and psychoeducation
  • Facilitation of use of hospital and community resources, and psychosocial consultation to medical team

To qualify, you must have:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, LICSW required.
  • Experience in medical environment helpful.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills necessary.
  • Experience in mental health assessment and weight loss education preferred but not required.

This position is eligible for a $2500 sign on bonus and part-time benefits

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday
