Job Summary

 

Working under direct supervision of the Client Experience Manager, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Client Experience Associate handles the administrative tasks associated with more complex velocity client orders and client standards. The Associate role requires heavy data entry for velocity quotes, repetitive order entry, client standards and returns. The Specialist monitors the daily Open Order Report for daily actions and provides custom reporting of information required by the client. The Associate responds timely to client requests regarding order tracking and pricing requests for clients with already established system pricing.

Responsibilities:

Performs administrative duties related to operational activities including but not limited to the below:

  • Researches and updates client's software data information.
  • SKU creation, according to internal product and program conventions.
  • Tracks deliverables to close out billing issues.
  • Audits sales orders to ensure that internal and vendor controls are followed by validating program and pricing requirements to maintain customer compliancy and mitigate risk to the Company which could lead to the managing a small number of Licensing Vendors.
  • Responds to first level sales requests regarding overall license lifecycle within established Service Level Agreements, including (but not limited to): new SKUs, ETAs, Order Processing and Software Reporting.
  • Enters, updates and validates records in the software reporting tool as assigned.
  • Exports and imports data as required by individual partner/client validation processes.
  • Performs on-the-job training duties as assigned to develop licensing operations skills and knowledge.
  • Tracks down software license information via different websites and enters the information into Connection's internal system.
  • Enters data into the Connection system.
  • Responds to sales rep requests via email.
  • Creates and manipulates a “to do” list of orders requiring posting within an Excel template.
  • Runs reports to audit for missing information and to identify gaps. Manipulates reports within Excel.
  • Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree requirements: Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience; Major if applicable: Business Management or similar.
  • Minimum years of career experience to qualify for role: 1 year.                 
  • Includes a minimum of two years of data entry in an inside sales role.
  • Total years of career experience in order to be fully proficient: 3 years.  

 

Required competencies:

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel for creating and using spreadsheets.
  • Basic understanding of the anatomy of a desktop/laptop with ability to understand customer needs.
  • Ability to complete on-the-job training in client operations and insides sales support within the first two months of hire.
  • Organized state of mind.
  • Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication.
  • Good listening skills with ability to receive information completely and understand what is being said.

  • Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials.

Additional preferred competencies or preferred qualifications, if any:
  • Preferred basic knowledge of Inside Sales or similar client facing role which required heavy data entry into an ERP or CRM.
  • Product procurement experience preferred.
  • Some knowledge of Software Publishers and the programs they offer is preferred.
