Key Responsibilities:
company guidelines or governmental regulations regarding Maersk's status as a Container Freight Station (CFS) and Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF)
*Retain all records regarding bonded (CFS) and screened (CCSF) cargo, including maintaining the CFS log (If role should require)
*Safe operation of any equipment according to company policy and local regulations
*Effective, efficient, and damage free cargo handling (including proper breakdown and build up of Unit Load Devices).
*Proper weigh/dim and receipt of Export freight with proper log into WMS.
*Proper inventory of cargo in warehouse to be conducty in timely manner as communicated by warehouse leader/gateway management
*Proper check in of import break bulk with movement to proper location.
*Adhere to TSA, US CBP, DOT, IATA and OSHA regulations as well as any other regulatory agencies.
*Ensure workplace is always in a clean, safe and presentable manner
*Complete all trainings as assigned in a timely manner
*Work closely with HUB office for proper adherence to ULD buildup and breakdown through communication with warehouse leader.
*Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
*At least 2 years of experience in the airfreight industry - warehouse experience strongly preferred
*Ability to work within a team and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
*Ability to manage workload independently and with attention to deadlines, compliance, and customer centric focus
*Setting an example for others to follow regarding knowledge, expertise, work ethic, and reliability
*Microsoft Office Knowledge including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
*Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
*Communicates (speaks, understands, reads, and writes reports using acceptable format and sentence and paragraph structure) in English.
