Given this role will support multiple functional areas, the Business Analyst must be adept at delivering diverse requirements with unique timelines and comfortable managing the expectations of several business leaders. The ability to become intimately familiar with business processes will be essential for this role - so highly passionate and curious individuals are encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop solutions that leverage data
- Lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to drive meaningful business results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics, KPIs, and data requirements for product initiatives
- Query large datasets using SQL and curate data for the purpose of analytics
- Analyze large and complex data sets using to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI that communicate insights to key stakeholders
- Design and execute A/B tests, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to optimize product features and functionalities
- Use data to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative approaches for product analytics
Minimal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role - preferably supporting manufactured products
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience deploying machine learning solutions
- Experience using Azure, Databricks, Power Bi, R or Python for data analysis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of statistical analysis
- Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity
