Genesis10 is seeking a Staff Quality Assurance Architect for a direct placement role working a hybrid schedule with a healthcare company in Milwaukee, WI.

Description:
Responsible for test architecture and framework creation for the CT business. Leading software quality engineering discussions and mentoring of other junior quality engineers. Responsibilities
  • Own large sized tasks or small projects and delivers QA artifacts. Manages deliverables and mentors junior team members.
  • Set the architectural direction for the global test team.
  • Design modular, reusable frameworks
  • Develop a test automation roadmap and drive its implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements.
  • Contribute in driving initiatives such as defining coding standards and processes to ensure quality code is produced.
  • Reuse existing code appropriately wherever possible; drives same behaviors across team while coaching other developers to improve their code quality.
  • Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams.
  • Determine testing best practices and principals and promotes them across the organization.
  • Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
  • Provide functional and technical expertise in bug fixes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the quality engineering, manages test plans and testing methodology for software projects.
  • Use test automation techniques (data driven, pairwise, mocking, test hooks) that fit the problem space. Understands designing and coding for testability to produce quality code with the lowest cost.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Has extensive experience in test automation?
  • Demonstrates experience and ability to write Java code for the purposes of testing solution code (e.g., white-box testing).
  • Has experience in testing web services.
  • Has experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems.
  • Has experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Has experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure.
  • Expert in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
  • Skilled at developing code for other developers to learn from.
  • Skilled in integrating project testing with continuous-integration process.
  • Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
  • Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.
  • Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates.
  • Understand how internal and/or external business model works and facilitate active customer engagement.
  • Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes.
  • Able to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments.
  • Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems.
  • Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
  • Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization.
  • Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
  • Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other teams and leadership.
  • Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
  • Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team.
